Special glasses will be provided to witness this magnificent eclipse that will turn the sun into a glowing ring of fire.
Come to watch the annular “ring of light” solar eclipse, which occurred in Japan almost 25 years ago and approximately 173 years ago in Kobe. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. It will be visible in Kobe on May. 21st at 7:29a.m. and 39 seconds. Don't miss this astronomical show of the century with your family and friends.

*Optimal viewing will occur at 7:29a.m. and 39 seconds on May. 21st in Kobe. Please be advised that you may not be able to see a perfect ring, as our hotel (Chuo-ku, Kobe) is located on the border of the path. (see figure on the right)
