Questions about hotel rooms

Q1 Do all rooms offer a view?

All rooms offer either an east or west view of the city. If you would like further details on different views, please inquire when you make your reservation.

Q2 Is it possible to request a specific floor or view?

The views vary based on the size of the room. We can't confirm a request for a certain floor however, we can confirm a lower or higher floor when making a reservation.
* Please understand that certain accommodation plans or room types may not be eligible for special requests. Please inquire when you make your reservation.

Q3 Do you have non-smoking rooms?

Non-smoking rooms are based on availability so, please indicate your preference when you make a reservation. Our non-smoking rooms Regular floors: 18th, 19th, 25th and 27th floors. Club floors : 31st (smoking, non-smoking on the same floor) and 32nd floor.

Q4 Do you have Japanese (tatami) rooms?

The hotel offers a combination Japanese/Western style rooms. Combination rooms include a western living space and a tatami bedroom.

Q5 Do you have a handicap accessible room?

The hotel apologizes for the lack of handicap accessible rooms. However, you can request a room that offers some of the features you may find in a typical handicap room.

Q7 Is it possible to purchase additional amenities for my room?

We have ANA brand name pajamas and bathrobes for purchase at the "Lobby Shop" located in the main lobby on the 4th floor (hours : 9:00a.m. - 7:00p.m.). Some of our amenities can be purchased online.

Q8 Does the hotel provide a list of additional amenities?

Please find a list of additional amenities below. Please note that there is a limited amount of amenities offered. Please request any additional items you may need when making your reservation. You can request an iron and ironing board as an additional amenity prior to your arrival.

Q9 Do rooms offer Internet service?

All rooms are equipped with free high-speed Internet accessible through a LAN cable.

Q10 Who can I contact for items left in my room after checkout?

Please contact the ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe at +81 78 291 1121 for all items left in the room. We will help find and return anything you may have left behind.

Questions about room reservations

Q1 Where is the Front Desk?

The front desk is located on the 4th floor of the main lobby. The "Club Floor" desk, which services all guests staying on our club floor levels, is located on the 37th floor. This reception desk closes at 11:00p.m.. so, all club floor guests have the option of checking in using the main desk.

Q2 What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Master and OMC Cards.

Q3 Is it possible to be put on a waiting list?

We do not offer a waiting list for any of our rooms.

Q4 What are the "Club Floor" guest privileges?

We offer an exclusive "Club Floor" desk located on the 37th floor for check-in and check-out. You also have access to the "Club Floor" lounge, which is located on the same floor. Please inquire to learn more about our guest privileges.

Q5 Is it possible to buy a birthday cake or flower bouquet?

We can arrange for a homemade cake, champagne, and flowers upon your request. Please ask us for details when you make your reservation.

Q6 Is it possible for someone other than the guest to make a hotel payment?

Yes, however, all payments must be made prior to the guests arrival and can be done through a bank transfer. Please inquire for more details.

Questions about the facilities and equipment

Q1 Is there a Fitness center? What does the fitness center offer?

Our fitness center, "The Shin-Kobe Club" includes a gym, indoor pool, sauna and bath. Guests are welcomed to use this facility.

Q2 Do you have a public bath?

We do not have a public bath in our facility. However, there is a sauna and a bath located in the fitness center.

Q3 Are there vending machines?

There are cigarette vending machines on the 4th, 5th and 10th floors.

Q4 Is there an ice maker?

We do not have ice makers. However, room service can deliver ice upon your request.

Q5 Is there a convenience store nearby?

There are two convenience stores (Family Mart and Lawson) located a few minutes walk from the hotel. Gourmet City grocery store is located on the lower level. ( hours: 11:00a.m. - 11:00p.m. (weekday) 10:00a.m. - 11:00p.m. (Saturday, Sunday and holidays).

Q6 Where can I keep my valuables?

All rooms have a safe. Please give the front desk, located on the 4th floor, your larger items to be placed in the hotel safe.

Q7 Is there a beauty salon in the hotel?

"Yayoi" beauty salon is located on the 4th floor. This salon can provide makeup application and Kimono assistance.

Q1 Do you rent wheelchairs?

We have a limited amount of wheelchairs that can be used only in the hotel. Please request a wheelchair when you make your reservation.

Q2 Is there a handicap accessible restroom?

We have a handicap accessible restroom on the 4th floor located on the south side of the main lobby.

Q3 Is there a handicap parking place?

There is a handicap parking space on the 5th floor of the parking garage. We do not accept requests to hold this spot.

Q4 Do you rent cribs or bed guards?

There are a limited amount of cribs. Please request one when you make your reservation. The hotel does not supply bed guards.

Q5 Do you rent strollers?

We do not have strollers.

Q6 How can I send a fax to a guest?

Please send your fax to +81 78 291 1154. We ask that the name of the guest and the date(s) of stay be written on the fax.

Q7 Is it possible to ship something from the hotel? What delivery company does the hotel use ?

The "Bell Desk" on the 4th floor can take care of your shipping requests. We use Yamato Transport Co., Ltd.

Q8 Where can I purchase stamps?

"The Lobby Shop" (hours: 9:00a.m.-7:00p.m.) and the front desk, both located on the 4th floor, sell stamps.

Q9 Will the hotel and restaurants accept a guest with a guide or service dog?

Yes.

Q11 Is it possible to bring a pet(s) ?

We do not allow pets. However, we can make an arrangement to board your pet(s) at a nearby hotel. Please let us know when you make your room reservation.

Q1 Is there a restaurant with a private dining room? Is there an extra charge for private rooms?

Private dining rooms are offered at "Suzhou", "Kobe Nadaman" (34th floor), "Tankuma Kitamise" (5th floor) "The Terrace" and "The Bar" (4th floor). Some of the restaurants have an extra charge for private rooms. Please inquire.

Q2 Can we have a engagement ceremony (Yuino) ?

We can help celebrate your engagement at "Suzhou", "Kobe Nadaman" (34th floor), or "Tankuma Kitamise" (5th floor) restaurants. For special meal requests and other inquiries, please contact the restaurant of your choice for details.

Q3 What are your lunch and dinner hours?

Lunch begins at 11:30a.m. and dinner begins at 5:30p.m. Japanese restaurant "Kobe Nadaman", Kyoto Cuisine "Tankuma Kitamise", Sushi "Akashi Kikusui" begin dinner at 5:00p.m.

Q4 Can I order a cake or a flower bouquet for a special occasion?

Based on your budget, restaurants can take requests for special occasions. Please inquire when you make your reservation.

Q5 Hotel parking information

We have 650 parking places located on the 5th-8th floors of the hotel building. Each restaurant will validate your ticket based on the price of your check. Please request a validation when you pay your check. Guests who spend JPY 2,000 or more will receive a one hour validation and a check of JPY 5,000 or more will receive a three hour validation. If you come by a chartered bus, you will receive a 3 hour validation by dining at one of the restaurants. The parking fee after 3 hours is JPY 1,000 per hour.

Q6 Which restaurant has the most beautiful nighttime views of the city?

"Level 36", "Suzhou", and "Kobe Nadaman" offer incredible evening views of Kobe and Osaka.

Q7 Do you serve kids meals? Do you offer a special dish for the "first-bite" (Okuizome) baby ceremony?

Kids meals are available at "Level 36", "Suzhou" and "The Terrace".
Special plates for the baby's "first-bite", or Okuizome ceremony are served at "Level 36", "Kobe Nadaman" and "Tankuma Kitamise". Please ask the restaurant of your choice for details.

Q8 May I dine without a reservation?

Open seating is on a first come basis. During busy periods, such as weekends and holidays, we strongly recommend a reservation.

Q9 Is there a non-smoking section?

"The Terrace", "The Lounge" (4th floor), "Kitano" and "Akashi Kikusui" (5th floor) are no-smoking restaurants.
Non-smoking seats are available at "Suzhou", "Kobe Nadaman" (34th floor) and "Tankuma Kitamise" (5th floor).
No-smoking seats are available at some of our other restaurants. Please inquire.

Q10 Do any restaurants offer low-calorie meals?

Restaurant & Bar "Level 36" is equipped to handle your special meal requests.

Q11 Do you have a restaurant that serves Kobe Beef?

We serve Kobe beef at teppanyaki "Kitano" (5th floor).

Q12 Other special restaurant services

Kids under 5 years can eat for free at the "The Terrace's" lunch or dinner buffet. This restaurant also has a special set price for guests over 65 years.

Wedding Questions

Q1 Where can wedding guests send their dresses?

The cloakroom on the 9th floor will accept dresses for guests five days prior to the wedding. Please advise the names of both bride and groom when a dress in shipped or dropped off.

Q2 Is there a changing room for guests?

We have changing rooms for men and women on the 9th floor. The cloakroom will store any excess clothing during the ceremony. Cash, valuable items and food will not be accepted.

Q3 Is there a service that provides Kimono assistance?

"Yayoi" beauty salon provides assistance. Contact number +81 78 291 1166 for further details.

Q4 What is the cost for Kimono assistance and a hair stylist?

Kimono assistance is available for JPY 7,350 for a Tomesode (a kimono for married women) and JPY 10,500 for a Furisode (a kimono for an unmarried women).
Hair prices start at JPY 4,200.
All prices include tax.
* Prices for hair may vary depending on the length and/or style of hair.

Q5 Do you rent formal wear for wedding guests?

We have rental costumes available at "TAKAMI BRIDAL". Please call for more details at +81 78 222 5410.

Q6 How far in advance do I need to make reservations for wedding guests?

Reservations are required to be made by the bride or groom. Please make your reservation when you know how many guests will be staying at the hotel. We recommend that you book in advance to avoid dates that may be sold out.

Q7 Do wedding guests receive parking validation?

Please give your parking ticket to the cloakroom on the 9th floor for a six hour parking validation.
After the 6 hours, the charge will be JPY 200 per 30 minutes until 8:00p.m. and JPY 100 per hour between 8:00p.m. - 8:00a.m..
The daily parking fee is: JPY 1,600 (weekday) and JPY 2,400 (Saturday, Sunday and holidays).

Q8 Does the hotel offer special equipment for guest entertainment?

Rentals are available for a Karaoke machine, piano, electronic organ and other musical instruments. With advance notice, the hotel can set up a computer and projector to help you with your entertainment. Please inquire for details.

Q9 Do you have a nursery for wedding guests with small children?

The nursery, "Baby Room Pine Forest", is located on the 2nd floor at the Shin-Kobe Oriental Avenue. Please contact +81 78 242 2013 for more information.

Questions about Banquets and Meetings

Q1 How do I make reservations?

To book event rooms please contact the event reservation service at +81 78 291 1146 or submit your inquiry via our homepage. Please have your date and number of guests available when you make your reservation.

Q2 How early do I need to make a reservation?

We accept reservations up to one day prior to your scheduled meeting. Reservations that include meals must be confirmed 10 days prior to the event. All rooms are subject to availability.

Q3 Banquet and meeting room hours

Hours : 9:00a.m. - 10:00p.m. for banquets and meetings.

Q4 What type of rooms do you offer for parties and meetings?

We offer 15 rooms that range from our 2,000 ㎡ grand banquet room to our 25 ㎡ meeting room.

Q5 Do any rooms offer a view?

We recommend the "Sky Banquet " located on the 35th floor. It offers spectacular views 180m above sea level.

Q6 How soon do I meet with your event team after my reservation is confirmed?

Your intitial meeting should be one month to two weeks prior to the event. Typically two meetings are sufficient to organize all details. Depending on the event, we can conduct meetings over the phone.

Q7 Do you offer party or meeting packages?

We offer a variety of packages based on your budget. Our event team will help you achieve a successful event.
